(April 4, 2026) Tonkawa, Oklahoma - After Wednesday's region split at Union Bank Field, the Bucks hit the road to conclude the series at Northern Oklahoma College on Saturday. The Bucks held an early lead in the first game, but ultimately fell in both contest to drop the region series. UARM is now 14-24 overall with a 3-9 region record.
In the series, Ethan Miller (Hallsville, TX) led the Bucks in nearly every offensive statistical category. The sophomore outfielder hit .412 in the series with 7 hits (2 doubles and 1 home run) and 7 runs scored. He also stole a base in the region series. Andrew Stancin (Fernandina, FL) did the most damage with the bat with 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs of his own. Sophomore Dylan Gibson (Sprindale, AR) had 5 hits in the series, including a triple with 1 RBI. Ben Welch (Coppell, TX) and Aiden Poirier (Richmond, TX) each had 3 RBIs.
The Bucks scored 20 runs on 30 hits on the weekend with 6 doubles, a triple, and a home run. The men took 24 free bases and stole 9 bases in the series loss.
The best starts on the mound came on Wednesday at Union Bank Field with Jaxson Ingle (Lonoke, AR) and Connor Frith (Perryville, AR). Ingle (2-3) got the win in 6.2 innings pitched. Avie Singleton (Cabot, AR) got his first save of the series in 2.1 innings pitched. Singleton (0-2) made another relief appearance at Tonkawa, but he would get charged with the loss in the 7-6 ball game. Frith (2-1) got his first loss of the season, giving up 3 runs on 3 hits in 6.0 innings of work on Wednesday.
The Bucks will play a mid-week contest on Monday at Gary Hogan Field on the campus of UA Little Rock before beginning a region series with Redlands Community College later this week.
