(September 17, 2025) Tishomingo, Oklahoma - After a 10-day break from competition, the Bucks hit the road on Wedneday for a region match against Murray State College. The Aggies have been receiving votes in the latest NJCAA DI Men's Soccer rankings after being in the top 20 earlier this season. Murray State is the defending back-to-back Region 2 Champions.
UARM decided to throw caution to the wind and go toe to toe against a very talented Murray State team. The Bucks played hard but surrendered 3 goals in the first half to the Aggies. UARM used the second half to rotate the whole squad to make sure everyone got some valuable minutes, and Murray extended their lead by another 2 goals to end the game at 5-0.
Coach Sherry is looking ahead for his men's team. "The guys did well against a tough opponent with highly skilled players who showed what can be done when the basic fundamentals of passing accuracy and ball control is mastered. We still have opportunities remaining to help us achieve our goal of achieving post season qualification."
The men play again next Wednesday at Rose State College. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 pm in Midwest City, OK.
