Big Offensive Day for the Bucks Against Southeast Arkansas

(March 21, 2026) Pine Bluff, Arkansas - After region wins in East Camden over SAU Tech, the ladies traveled about an hour and 20 minutes east to Southeast Arkansas College. Today's doubleheader is the mid-point of the cross-over region play between the West and East. 

The ladies found themselves down 6-1 to start the day, but the bats came alive late to win 12-6 and then run-ruled the Lady Sharks 10-1 to end the day. The wins on the weekend makes UARM 18-8 overall, but more importantly, the Bucks are 8-0 in region play.

It was a big offensive day for the ladies, scoring 22 runs on 26 hits. Eleven of the 26 were extra base hits. Lynden Cole (Gadsden, TN) had the biggest day at the plate with 4 hits, including 2 home runs with 8 RBIs in the win. Classmate Kinley Rankin (Horatio, AR) joined the home run party with one of her own and added 2 doubles with 5 RBIs in the doubleheader. Linley Collins (Whitesboro, OK) recorded the most hits on the day with 3 singles and 3 doubles. The leadoff also had 4 RBIs, 4 runs, and stole 3 bases. Brooke Tyler (Gainesville, TX) also recorded 4 hits with a double, 1 RBI, 3 runs scored, and stole 2 bases. 

The ladies found different ways to produce runs on the day with 3 sacrifice flies. The Bucks took advantage of 9 free bases and stole a total of 7 bags. 

In the circle, Hayden White (Red Oak, OK) made another relief appearance on the weekend and pitched the final 5.0 innings of the 12-6 win. White (3-1) gave up 0 runs on 4 hits and struck out 5 with no walks. Perry Nickerson (De Queen, AR) got the start in the second game and lasted 5.0 innings. Nickerson (1-0) got her first collegiate win, giving up no runs on 4 hits and struck out a pair.

The ladies will now head to Shreveport, LA on Tuesday for a matchup against Baton Rouge Community College at Centenary College. First pitch is scheduled for 2 pm. The Bucks then return home against ASU Three Rivers on Friday, before hosting National Park in a doubleheader on Saturday.
